TOPIC: Tire Changer

Tire Changer 3 months, 1 week ago #1

Ordered a new tire changer yesterday, should be here by the end of the week.

I also got the motorcycle/atv wheel adapter, so no more problems changing out tires on the
BST's or my Audi RS6.

Rick you are a stud sir ! I am Fn jealous , Hope i didn't put the fear in you with that PM lol

That is so cool I bet Peadawg and a couple of other will be hanging out in your Garage come tire time .

That looks like the one at the Yammie shop same design what a handy shop accessory.

The spotlight is on you now would you do a video installing the CF Wheels that is after you have mounted and unmounted

several time with the factory wheels lol.

Darel better come up to Riverton....we still haven't ridden together. No problem on the video!

I bought this from Derek Weaver Company out of Texas...very reasonable compared to just a few years ago. www.derekweaver.com/update/index.aspx

Mike...
It is electric plus it needs about a 30 gal capacity air compressor.
Balancer i will get in a few more weeks. This unit plus the motorcycle adapter was only $1275 shipped. Balancer will be another $1100 with the motorcycle adapter.

David,

Not a problem....I'm looking forward to changing tires on my own rigs. Have wanted one of these
for a long time, actually since I wrenched when I was 19.

I would save the money on a balancer and just use Dyna beads in your tires. They work well and rear tire stays balanced even after a day at the strip. Try marking your tire and rim before running and you may find the rim has turned a couple of inches in the tire by the end of the day.
