If all goes well, this event will make Vmax history! It's been a few months in the making, and we have all the players lined up for the 09 Vmax Drag event of the century! After meeting Tim Nash (Vmax Guru) and talking to him about the importance of track performance vs dyno runs, and then talking to Lee, my favorite 09 Vmax pilot, I think we're gonna finally have some results for everyone by the weekend! That's right, Test & Tune night at Bradenton Drags strip Thursday night may set new records of Vmax performance with aftermarket parts. Special thanks to Tim for offering up this opportunity to time his modified Vmax. The only snafu along the way may be Tims health as he reported to me just minutes ago he's not feeling well, but hopes to be up to snuff by Race day. I placed a call to SmokinZx14 (Lee) from Bikeland a few minutes ago, and as usual my favorite pilot wants to "fly" this altered Vmax into the record books! We already know Tim's bike will make 200+ HP on juice, and this may be a chance to test that as well as the aftermarket stuff from UFO. I'm hoping (not counting on it) to have an Xpipe on mine to test as well. Either way, I promise this will be HUGE and Lee will be busier than a one legged man at an ass kicking contest! I ain't skeered. Just had my bike on the dyno Friday night. 172.84 hp and 99.34 ft-lbs SAE. Should be in the 180's by this weekend.

I hear ya Teddy with your bad Vmax slayer, but It'll be interesting to see what Lee can do with this 660lb rocket Don't mess up now, hear?

We're already making predictions. Once he makes the first pass we'll know what it's really capable of. Hope the weather holds. Hot times are a coming.

You need to make a little extra money taking race pictures. Your pictures are as good if not better than the photographers at the track.

I want to move away.......ive been riding in the snow around here i could barely even hit it in second this morning my tire was spinning.

Just stopped by Lee's and he's pumped and ready for the extra ponies. This will be a good test of Maxs acceleration for sure. 9.70's maybe 9.60's?
