TOPIC: 1/8 mile Drag Racing

1/8 mile Drag Racing 2 years 8 months ago #1

Capt, Big D and I went to the local 1/8th mile track tonight.
Track was VERY VERY sticky, VERY good, but the run throughs (cycles) where WAY slow. meaning.... bikes run once an hour at best.....
We managed to get several runs in the first hour, but got REAL slow after 7:00 P.M.
But anywho, still had a great time.
I am finally getting used to launching the big ol' gurl.
Here are my times below, I'm sure Big D and Capt. will post up sooner or later.
Capt.s bike is making good power for sure!

I posted up my best 2 and one on far leftt from the 1/4 mile track to compare I am still rich down low and cant seem to get my 60 footers back to past event Tim will be fixing that after Thanksgiving so the mid top is is really performing good enough to pull off best
time withnot so good short times took a while to get used to the track you could see it peeling off the tires like glue and you actually have to lift your foot up hard to launch but as usual had a ball but the bike pit area was getting a bit rowdy with some side betting and
flamboyant bike owners.

Damn capt. your bike has to have some serious BALLS to be laying down those numbers with 1.7 60's...You ran a 6.53@111mph on a 1.72 60' v's jbretts 6.56@109mph and he pulled a 1.65 60' , if you'd had a 1.65 60' you'd probly ran a 6.40. How much do you weigh? Get them 60's down to high 1.5s and you will be in the 9.8s or better , takes alot of practice.

You aint a lyin!!
I already knew the Brock's pipe with the FX Bigair was the most powerful setup avalible , the Nash flash is making it only better....Tim said some time bike the Brock's system was going to be his flag ship setup , the numbers are showing that he obviously knew what he was talking about...

Yea, I said the same thing about Bob's E/T's. Really pulling hard with those 60'ers. We always get guys come up to the bikes and say"Damn, those bikes are FAST!" they say they didn't know a cruisers could run that hard.
Here are my slips. check out the two with identical 60'ers :rolleyes2:
