There is good riders and there is Randy aka Ranimal aka CruiseMissile. A gifted Custom bike builder and probably the best rider I have met on the streets. Whenever we get a chance we tear up roads together. Unfortunately being 2500 miles apart, keeps that to a once a year activity (at best).

Our September VMax of the month in full action at the Dragon - Route 129 - Deals Gap.

Randy tearing up the Dragon on his custom VMax

Try hanging with this guy and you will be in for a treat - or all by yourself. I know - Randy - its all because we don't trust our tires as much as you do. :-)

If you want to see him live in person, better sign up for The VMax Fest at The Dragon 2010. Many members will be there to celebrate the best motorcycle in our lives on one of the best roads in the country.

Ranimal in action - VMax!

Now check out the bike in all its beauty!

Custom 2009 VMax by Cruise Missile - VMax of the Month September 2009

Deals Gap - The Dragon - does not stand a chance when Randy hits it hard. As a long time member, he has been posting about the potential of the VMax even before it came out. He surely turned skeptics into believers. Think the new VMax can only go straight? Think again or get left in the dust.

Randy you RULE!

The Dragon's godfather at work - VMax!

Not enough? Want to see more of his bike and his mad skills?

Check out his personal photo album on our community pages and in the forum: Cruise Missile's Photo Album

ALTS replied to the topic Re:Newbie- Vmax in Rochester NY in the forums.
The bike made the trip home in the back of the truck with no issues. I was pleased to also receive the numbers frame badge, plaque, funky key and book with the purchase. Took it for a quick 20mi run this afternoon-this bike is an adrenaline fix for sure!

Loaded & transported it straight on using ancra folding ramp-worked great! Back tire was right in the middle of the tailgate. Would not hesitate to put in the back in the future-sorry no pic of it in the truck.

Got about 40 miles in today on the VMax. It was a great ride. Except for a quick ride last Wednesday I haven't ridden since November. I hope winter is over cause I'm ready to ride full time.

Thanks for the link. Like BlackMax said that is very similar to the stand that I tried to use. The one that I borrowed looks like it could lift a tank - very solidly built, but the pin that snapped looks like a cast piece that seems like it is on the weak side. I didn't use a rear stand but I don't think that would help, it would only transfer more weight to the front. The pin was in nice and square I checked it as I started to lift.

How did the new tires feel? I spent 2 hours getting the rear shock setting right (I Hope ) on the Busa Does not squat as much on drag race type take off's so hopefully no more ripped off plates and holes in the undertail
