Just don't tell them you were trying to lift a VMax, they'll laugh and void your warranty.

I would really like to see and hear that set up, may be what I am looking for as I too had the 4:1 kerker with the competition baffle and loved it.

I'm using the default settings and they work fine. I did play around with it a little when first got it - I shortened all of the times except the 1-2 shift which has the longer throw. I ended up with it back to default though. It is an absolute blast to use!

I just now snapped off a pin on my buddies Lockart Philips lift trying to pick up the Max to remove the front wheel. Luckily nothing bad happened, the bike was not all the way up yet. Anybody pickup the front with a jack yet? I have a scissor jack that I use with the K&L adapter.....but that will only pick up the back.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey Mark
Looks like you have alot left on that stock tire. You must have been behaving. How many miles did you put on that tire. I have over 8000 miles on my original stock tire and I know that wasn't your original. Hey I know I ride like a puss!

Yeah it's new, the first one went 5600 miles.

I modified my shaft cover (no comments please) despite much good advice not to bother. I actually came up with a decent version although I F'd it up by not leaving well enough alone. The first picture is the part cut, the 2nd is a side view comparison after it was back together. I used a piece of inner tube to close the cut opening. It was good until I made another little adjustment and then decided to slather it with some black silicone gasket goop. The problem is that that stuff dries so soft it picks up anything thrown at it. So......wrong glue to use - otherwise a working solution. Really not worth the time though (unless there is snow on the ground like I had here).

You will not be dissappointed with the carbon fiber from yamaha in any way As Oliver said it is the highest quality carbon fiber work and will be very hard to find any imperfections. The bike is a looker stock for sure but the carbon fiber is a show stopping, jaw dropping, head turning to die for look that people will flock to. Happens everytime I ride. Enjoy your new animal
