Iconic Vmax wins Cycleworld International Motorcycle Show finals.
Randy's 2009 Vmax was invited to attend the January Cycleworld International Motorcycle Show held in Greenville South Carolina. The Iconic Vmax was up against some heavy competition from professional builders as well as the home builders.
The catagories where Pro's, Joes and Mob Rules. The Pro's voted for thier favorite Joe built bikes and the Joes voted on the Pro builds. Then there is the Mob Rules class where the show visitors vote on thier favorite bike.
After tallying up the visitor ballots it was decided that ICONIC was the winner of the Mob Rules portion. Randy was awarded a nice crystal trophy and a spot in the National Finals Show held in Daytona beach during Bike Week in March. Only the 3 winners from each of the seasons 12 shows where eligeable to compete in the finals.
Daytona Bike Week in March brought out the best of the best previous winners from across the country. From stretched out Busa's to raked choppers. But only one Vmax in the mix. The crowd that attended the show was drawn the VMAX like a moth to a flame. Randy talked to Vmax owners and enthusiasts from around the globe. "It's almost like a cult " he says. For some it was the first time they had seen the next generation VMAX. He got the word out that one can learn everything there is to know about the all new Max by logging onto www.starvmax.com.
On Saturday afternoon the votes where counted to determine the winners of the IMS National finals. The first class to be announced was "Mob Rules". They Called Randy's name and the ICONIC Vmax was deemed the winner. Once again the people attending the show liked the VMAX best. It was a big win. Randy received a beautiful crystal goblet trophy and the title of Cycleworld International Motorcycle Show National Champion.
The trophy was presented to him by guest judge and celebrity builder Matt Hotch.
Thats an outstanding achievement for a bike that was built to ride hard. And with zero chrome to boot.
