Twin Daddy created a new topic Good Luck To Chuck in the forums.
Our good friend Chuck (ny1max) is going in for back surgery tomorrow and I just wanted to wish him good luck. Chuck has been suffering from chronic back pain for quite some time now and has been unable to enjoy Max to the fullest. I have gone on quite a few rides with Chuck since becoming a Vmax owner and he is a very experienced rider. He has helped me with many of the projects on my bike and never asked for anything in return. I have learned alot from him and am very grateful for that. I have been a real stunad and failed to return calls and I feel aweful about that. I tried to call tonight but was unable to reach him so I just want to wish you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery Chuck You are a good man and a great friend.

fmangano created a new topic Throttlemeister heavy stainless steel bar ends in the forums.
Since I'm now going for the bar end mirrors, I no longer can use the Throttlemeister "heavy" brushed stainless steel bar ends.

They are perfect and as new and only used once today. They look and work great on the 2009-2010 Vmax. They did seem to eliminate some of the bar vibration at over 70mph. These are the longer, heavier brushed stainlees steel version.

New these cost me $155.00 delivered to me. I will take $75.00

fmangano created a new topic Rizoma "Circuit 851" mirrors in black...like new in the forums.
I'm selling these Rizoma Circuit 851 mirrors and going to Rizoma bar end mirrors. Just a choice in aesthetics.

These mirrors are as new and only on the bike for 1 ride, today. They are perfect, and have the reverse thread to fit the 2009 and 2010 Vmax perfectly. They do look great on the Vmax and are a quality piece.

I will take $125.00 plus shipping for the pair. The set cost me over $225.00 delivered.

Thanks

I second that the 240 conti is one bad ass tire, with 1100 miles
so far and it has always done great!
the harder you use it the better it gets in the turns with high temps in the 80s so far the tire is working great, with both the conti`s front and rear the bike is well behaved leaned over and powers out of turns with new speed and gives good confidence, the Bridgestone tires worked nice for the stock tires but the conti`s look the part and hook where the brigstone tire was lacking...
this should get our 60 ft times down a little as you can leave really hard and it just wheelies instead of spinning thru the first 3 gears, you can spin it but you won`t find much that can hold the VMax torque with out being warmed up first,
this is the tire to get!!!!

I agree 100%, I was out twice today - about 160 miles. My first rides with the new Conti on the front as well as the rear. Neutral handling, confidence inspiring. NO MORE SPINNING THE TIRE EVERY TIME I JUMP ON THE GAS IN THE LOWER GEARS!! Now I get 1st and 2nd gear wheelies.....nice easy wheelies, no drama. Bike is MORE fun to ride (is that possible?). Very happy so far.
